Go-Thumbscript-Cyr for the Palm OS

Quick Start guide:

·       This is our beta version of Go-Thumbscript for the Cyrillic alphabet.  With it, you will be able to enter English and Cyrillic text using the Pop-Up keyboard with any text field in a Palm application.

·       You must have three files installed:  1.  Go-Thumbscript-Cyr.prc, 2.  CyrHack, and 3.  HackMaster.

·       If any previous version of Go-Thumbscrit has been installed, open the HackMaster icon and de-activate it.  Then, using the delete menu choice from your Palm home screen, remove the old version.

·       After installing with a Hot-Sync operation (following mfgr’s instructions), open the HackMaster icon and activate both CyrHack  and Go-Thumbscript-Cyr.

·       Open a Palm application like Memo Pad, and with an editable text field active, tap the “ABC” in the Graffiti area, just as you would to activate Palm’s Pop-up Keyboard.

·       Print out the Cyrillic alphabet key (010211.QT.ru.pdf), using Adobe Acrobat Reader.

·       Be sure CyrHack is set to “ru,” not “en,” (see CyrHack documentation) and draw letters according to the Thumbscript alphabet.  Like the Cyrillic version of Graffiti, this beta form of the alphabet is designed to stay close to the English letters.  Tell us what you think.  We can still adopt changes.
